Care Retreat

Check back later for updates!

The 2027 retreat will be announced in the Fall. All students are welcome to apply.

The Care Retreat has worked to create a community focused on finding meaning, healing, support, and trust amongst students in the NC State community. Our purpose is to help all participants move towards actualization by focusing on the inner parts of the self. Furthermore, the broad goal of the retreat is to create a space where students can express themselves and find community, in addition to discovering and examining the intricacies of their own agency, leadership, and solidarity.

Learning Objectives

  • Students will be able to assess their own agency.
  • Students will learn to transform critical engagement in ways that uncover and create change.
  • Students will employ strategies to engage in healthy and supportive intercultural dialogue.
  • Students will demonstrate varying approaches to building and retaining the campus community.

All students are welcome to apply.
