Why we do what we do.
Mission: The NC State Women’s Center fosters a sense of community and belonging through intentional programming and services focused on supporting student success and retention. Through our high-impact practices centered on gender and interpersonal violence prevention and response, students of all gender identities expand their knowledge base, enhance their leadership skills, and explore opportunities for personal and professional growth and well-being, including receiving the affirming support and resources necessary to thrive at NC State.
Vision: The NC State Women’s Center serves as a resource and catalyst using evidence-based practices for transformative learning around issues of gender and interpersonal violence.
